The docks of Lothal as well as brain tantalizing plan of the water reserviour at Dholavira are fascinating places to visit for the monument lovers. The state also has abundance of other historical places of interest. The Father of Nation of India who was also the sole Emblem of Peace, Mahatma Gandhi, also belonged to a small town – Porbander-  of Gujarat. The state has tolerance to every religion and tourists can find ancient Temples, Churches, Mosques, Gurudwara at various places throughout the state.
